Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) Courses

Doing prescribed electrical work in NZ requires registration and licensing, which can be a complicated process. There are 16 classes of registration, each with different requirements. You need to complete and pass the appropriate examination and practical assessments for your particular scope of work. Shift E-tec is able to guide you through the process and provide the necessary tuition courses and practical assessments. We take care of the details so you can focus on learning.

Telecommunications

Shift E-tec offers a range of scheduled and customised courses designed specifically for the telecommunications industry.

We have a state-of-the-art Fibre Optic workshop as well as expertise in network design, build, and connect using both fibre and copper.

Customised Training Solutions

We understand that a one-size-fits-all approach to training isn’t always the best way forward. That’s why we work with businesses to create training solutions that work for them. We have extensive experience in designing and delivering bespoke training within the electrotechnology and telecommunications fields. Health and Safety Courses

Shift E-tec offers two one-day first aid courses that will equip trainees to recognise a range of relevant hazards and how to react appropriately in emergency situations. These two courses cover general workplace situations and confined spaces scenarios.

Electrotechnology

MIT has partnered up with Shift E-tec to provide hands-on skills for those looking to enter or have already entered the electrotechnology industry.

The dynamic and varied work being done in this industry means these skills are highly valuable.
